Packed with performance features and technology, the KONA has a GLIDEflex grooved panel in the chest to allow full expansion of your lungs. Many triathletes tend to “panic” breath at the start of the swim and the GLIDEflex panels release to allow the chest to expand for deeper breaths.

Together with 2.0mm stretch arms, an extremely comfortable neck, and AQUAlift buoyancy technology that raises the hips to put the body in the most efficient swimming position, this wetsuit has been designed to increase speed and comfort in the water.

YAMAMOTO NEOPRENE

Zoot only uses the very best neoprene in the world from the Yamamoto Corporation in Japan—the highest grade of rubber available. Yamamoto neoprene is limestone-based and has a different cell structure than the more commonly used petroleum-based neoprene’s. It is more flexible, more durable and is better for the environment than traditional neoprene. Yamamoto neoprene absorbs very little water, making Zoot wetsuits naturally lighter and warmer.

COMFORT BACK NECK 

Zoot Wetsuits are designed with a raised back tab of butter soft neoprene to protect the back of your neck from chafing.

BUOYANCY PROFILE 

All Zoot Wetsuits are designed with proprietary AQUAlift Buoyancy Profile. AQUAlift strategically places the most buoyancy (5mm neoprene) on the mid/lower front side of body to raise the torso and legs out of the water putting you in the perfect horizontal swimming position. 

GLIDEFLEX 

Grooved neoprene panels increase stretch for maximum lung and muscle expansion.

SHOULDER & ARM FLEXIBILITY

INSIDE MATERIALS

Zoot suits are built with premium textile liners that are optimized for maximum stretch, comfort and low absorption. Zoot only use high quality, silky smooth nylon textiles that make their wetsuits come off in transition like butter! 

DORSALFLEX ZIPPER 

2mm of neoprene around the back zipper gives better stretch for improved lung expansion. Zoot’s DORSALflex zipper construction allows the zipper panel to stretch with the body which will eliminate the traditional restrictive feeling when zipping up. 

MOONTAPE REINFORCEMENTS 

Heat set Moontape is placed 3” up the arms and legs to ensure maximum durability and provides the opportunity to cleanly customize the length. Spot reinforcements are place throughout the suit for long lasting comfort and durability. 

OPTIMAL KICK DESIGN – OKD 

OKD is Zoot propriety leg patterning that forms to the angle of your knee in the water and works with your anatomy rather than fight it. OKD ensures increased kick velocity, frequency, and efficiency.

SCS COATING 

SCS (Super Composite Skin) is a hydrodynamic coating that improves swimming speeds by reducing drag thus allowing the suit to glide through water more efficiently. Think of it as a high tech teflon coating that repels water and protects your wetsuit by reducing the possibility of rips and tears.
